01

Our story begins in 1838, with the raising of a magnificent hand-hewn White Oak barn in the heart of Ohio.

For generations, its sturdy timbers stood witness to the rhythms of life, the turning of seasons, and the quiet strength of Americana. Then, a new chapter began. Driven by a passion for preservation and a vision for creating a space where love stories could flourish, we embarked on a journey to relocate and restore this architectural gem.

We discovered a breathtaking five-acre parcel of land in Morgantown, West Virginia, a site steeped in its own rich history, once home to an 1896 farmhouse and the legacy of a beloved local preacher.

Here, against a backdrop of rolling hills and stunning sunsets, the White Oak barn found its new home, meticulously reassembled to honor its original craftsmanship while offering modern comforts for your special day. Every beam, every plank, whispers tales of the past, inviting you to become a part of its ongoing story. At White Oak 1838, your celebration becomes a part of a legacy.
